How do I compare two JSON files online?
Open a file or paste JSON into each editor, then select Compare JSON. The tool lists added, removed, and changed values with their exact paths.
Does object key order matter?
No. JSON object properties are matched by name. Array positions are compared by default; enable Ignore array order when position does not matter.
What does Ignore array order do?
It compares the contents of an array without considering position. If the contents differ, the whole array appears as one change so the report does not pretend to know which item moved.
Is my JSON uploaded?
No. Your text and files remain in your browser. The compare calculation runs locally.
